The aim of the annual photo contest "Faces of the Planet Earth" is to illustrate, by means of photografic art, the picturesque world with its variety of historical and cultural sights, its rich architectural heritage and its multiculturalism, as well as to promote photographic art and communication among photographers on an international level.

Invite on the long-awaited opening of „POKROVA PHOTOVERNISSAGE, 2008”
On October, 14 at 15 o'clock in Rivne to academic Ukrainian musically dramatic theater an opening and rewarding of winners of annual competitive exhibition of participants ceremony will take place the 3d International Salon of artistic picture opening "POKROVA PHOTOVERNISSAGE, 2008" author project of Oleksandr Kharvat "Face of Planet Earth". On a competition 3234 pictures acted 389 authors 40 countries of the world. In a display over 150 pictures will be presented and the album of the best pictures of participants of exhibition is presented.
